Adam Keatinge
General Manager, Lillyhall
Adam joined Shortridge in April 2021 following a successful career in Account Management in a number of sectors, including laundry and hospitality, where he developed and led award winning teams delivering excellent customer service.
In his early career Adam worked as a Food & Beverage manager in several leading UK hospitality venues including the world-famous Gleneagles Hotel and Edinburgh’s Witchery restaurant giving him an excellent insight into our customer’s requirements and how to deliver them.
Outside of work his four daughters keep him on his toes, and if he is ever allowed a free moment, he spends it hiding in the gym.

Peter Semple
Managing Director
Peter has spent over 20 years in the laundry sector mostly with Edinburgh based Professional Linen Services, where he led the development of the business from start-up to become one of the leading hospitality laundries in Scotland with a customer base that included many of the largest and most highly regarded hospitality businesses in the world.
Away from work Peter enjoys cycling, golf and good whisky.

Susan Peat
General Manager, Dumfries & Darlington
Susan has been with Shortridge since 2007. During that time, she has overseen the growth of our Dumfries plant and its development into the modern, efficient laundry that it is today, providing outstanding service and product quality to our long-standing customer base in Scotland and the North East.
In her spare time Susan tours at home and abroad on one of her four motorbikes and for a change of pace she enjoys reading and hillwalking with her dog Asha.

Io Strong
Finance Director
One of the original founders of North-West Laundries, which merged with Dumfries based Shortridge in 2003 to form the company we know today. Io has been involved in every step of the company’s development and seen it grow from a start-up laundry in Workington to one of the largest independent laundries in the country. In her current role as Finance Director, she is a huge support to the rest of the management team as well as keeping us on track financially.
When she’s not poring over the latest month end figures, she loves to get out on the white stuff on her touring skis especially if there is a chance of fresh tracks in the British hills.
